Hanen Rashid Ali Awarded the Hunter J. Biermeier Memorial Scholarship

We are thrilled to announce that Hanen Rashid Ali has been awarded the 2024 Hunter J. Biermeier Memorial Scholarship. Hanen, a 2024 graduate of John Marshall High School in Rochester, Minnesota, plans to attend the University of Minnesota Duluth, where she will major in either biology or chemistry. Her dedication to her education and extracurricular activities is truly inspiring.

Throughout high school, Hanen demonstrated a strong commitment to her community and academic growth. She actively participated in the Debate Team, Environmental Club, Science Olympiad, and Speech Team, along with being involved in the JM Rocket Journal, JM Red Cross Club, and various sports teams such as swimming, basketball, and track. Hanen’s well-rounded involvement in her school community showcases her leadership and passion for making a difference.
